WJLB-FM (98) "Morning Show" personality Ingrid "COCO" Walton will host the breast cancer fundraiser "Testimonies in Pink: fight chronicles," from 7-9 p.m. Nov. 4 at Creative Arts Center, 47 Williams St., Pontiac. The event is the brainchild of Tawonna Anthony, a 32-year-old mother from Pontiac who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011.

Tom Canedo has been named vice president and general manager of the CBS duopoly WWJ-WKBD Detroit. He comes from WUPA Atlanta, the CBS-owned CW affiliate, where he was general manager. He joined WUPA as local sales manager in 1999 and was named vice president, station manager and director of sales in 2006.
