  • Raised: by CBS/Radio Detroit's Country WYCD-FM 99.5, over $500,000 for St. Jude's Children's Hospital during a two-day radiothon last week.

  • Hired: By Radio One operated WGPR-FM Detroit (Hot 107.5), Dr. Darrius Summers II for weekdays 7 p.m. - midnight.

  • Renown Michigan-based radio consultant Gary Berkowitz was interviewed by WDIV-TV Ch. 4 Detroit this morning explaining why the type of highly publicized radio prank that went wrong involving the Duchess of York is less likely to happen in the United States. See the video here.

CBS RADIO Top 40 WDZH (98.7 AMP RADIO)/DETROIT PD TIM "RAYNE" RAINEY has taken a leave of absence from the station after his conviction for driving under the influence.
