Fine Tuning:

  • Cumulus/Ann Arbor Adult Alternative WQKL-FM 107.1 kicked off their annual "Rockin' For the Hungry" food drive to benefit Food Gatherers this morning at the Westgate Kroger store on S. Maple near Jackson. Personalities including Martin Bandyke, John Bommarito, and Kelly Brown will be broadcasting live through Sunday hoping to get donations of 200 tons of nutritious food.

Every day, thousands of people in Washtenaw County rely on Food Gatherers, the area's largest food rescue and collection organization, distributing more than 4.6 million pounds of food to over 150 local non-profit organizations that see to it our neighbors in need, mostly families and children, won't go hungry.

Gifts of non-perishable food can be taken to any Washtenaw County Kroger location. More info at www.annarbors107one.com.
