Fine Tuning:
- More local content, less sports at Clear Channel's WDFN AM 1130 Detroit: Former WDTW AM 1310 morning host Tony Trupiano returned to the airwaves on January 28th - his new 'Night Shift' program airs from 8 - 11 p.m. on the mostly-sports station. The daily four hour exception to sports program is now from 7 - 11 p.m. with Trupiano and the Jonathan Kinloch show airing from 7 - 8 p.m.
- Radio in book format: Iconic Chicago jock John Records Landecker has penned a new book "Records Truly Is My Middle Name" that's set to go on sale March 28th with preorders beginning March 1st at www.eckhartzpress.com. The book chronicles a career that spans over forty years - one that has it roots in Michigan but is mostly known for his work in Chicago.
