If you're hoping to catch several Detroit Tigers spring training games on television, you may be in luck. Though many of them will be tape-delayed on MLB Network, the Tigers will have a total of 13 Grapefruit League games air on television.

- Southwestern Ontario AM daytimer shuts down: CKOT AM 1510 Tillsonburg ON, Canada's last daytime only AM station, has been silenced as of February 17th. The station had been operating solely as a daytime repeater of CJDL-FM 107.3 for more than five years prior to its final shutdown. Tillsonburg Broadcasting President and General Manager John Lamers commented the costs of maintaining operations far exceeded any possible income, leading to the end of the station.
