Fine Tuning:
- The National Association of Broadcasters has released the 50 finalists for the trade organization's 26th Annual Crystal Radio Awards. Making the cut are CBS Radio/Detroit's News WWJ AM 950 and Sports WXYT-FM 97.1, joining multi-time nominee Lenawee Broadcasting Company's WLEN-FM 103.9 Adrian.
Finalists are chosen by a panel that represent broadcasting, community service organizations and public relations firms. Finalists will be honored and winners announced at the NAB Show in Las Vegas on Tuesday, April 9th.

Potential students visiting Specs Howard School of Media Arts for the first time are always surprised to see 86-year-old Specs Howard still coming to the school on a daily basis. "Visiting employers for the first time, the question I'm most often asked, is if there really is a Specs Howard," explains President Lisa Zahodne.
