Cumulus/Detroit promotes Lori Bennett to PD at 96.3 WDVD
Lori Bennett has been promoted from Promotions Director at Cumulus' News/Talk WJR AM 760 to Program Director at Hot Adult Contemporary/Pop WDVD-FM 96.3 Detroit, effective immediately. Bennett succeeds Jesse Addy.
Jan Jefferies, Cumulus Senior Vice President of Programming, said the combination of Bennett's knowledge, experience, and leadership abilities make her an excellent choice for the position.
Bennett is a longtime veteran of Detroit radio who has been with the Cumulus/Detroit cluster since 2011. She began as a featured personality at WDVD and WDRQ before being named as Promotions Director for WJR. She also has worked for multiple years at several other high profile radio stations in Detroit including WNIC, WMGC, and WVMV serving in a variety of roles including Morning Show Host, Program Director, Operations Manager and Marketing Director.
Lori is also a key in-store voiceover talent for multiple national stores such as KMart and has voiced campaigns for leading brands as Phillips SonicCare. Bennett can also be seen on-camera for local businesses like Hagopian Rug Outlet.
