Detroit Free Press:

Doesn't anyone out there want to own a TV station? That's the question Bud Kelley, the owner of WMKG (Channel 38) in Muskegon, has been asking himself for five years. He very much wants to sell. He has sent e-mails, hired a media broker to shop it and dropped the asking price to $300,000, down from $500,000. He even listed the station on eBay.

  • Former WCSX/Detroit Program Director Brent Alberts stays in the region, landing the PD job at Cumulus/Toledo Classic Rock WXKR-FM 94.5.

  • Also in Toledo, Mike Shannon has been named morning show host at Cumulus Top 40 WWWM-FM 105.5.

 


 

Saginaw News:

Those that have long been listening to Delta College's public radio station might think they are tuning into the wrong station when they set their dials to 90.1 FM on Tuesdays between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
