From Black to Light National radio personality Steve Black's true life story of love, adventure, music, cancer, death, despair, tragedy and triumph while interacting with rock and roll royalty. Steve and Sabrina Black have spent a combined 40 years on the radio, mainly in Detroit, Michigan. Sabrina was diagnosed with cancer on the way to their wedding in Hawaii in 2000, and passed away six years later.

Bisi Onile-Ere, a reporter at WDIV-TV (Channel 4), has joined Al Jazeera America to be the first correspondent in its new Detroit bureau, one of 12 that the channel is opening in the U.S.
