The NBA is poised to become the first major U.S.-based sports league to allow its games to be streamed live locally. The league is finalizing TV Everywhere deals with Fox Sports Media Group and NBC Sports Group, the country's two biggest owners of regional sports networks.

- On the 'air': Streaming service Aereo for customers that preregistered in the Detroit market. Stations included in the service include the primary programming (.1) from Channels 2 (Fox), 4 (NBC), 7 (ABC), 20 (MNT), 31 (Ion), 38 (Ind), 50 (CW), 56 (PBS), and 62 (CBS).
In addition subchannels Channels 2.2 (Movies), 4.2 (ThisTV), 7.2 (LiveWell), 7.3 (BounceTV), 20.2 (CoziTV), 31.2 (Qubo), 31.3 (IonLife), 31.4 (IonShop), 38.2 (AntennaTV), 38.3 (Word), 56.2 (DPTV+), and 56.3 (PBS Create) are included.
Not included is over-the-air programming from Canada (Windsor's Channel 9.1 CBC or 32.1 TVO for example).
- For sale: The license and transmitter for the silent WDTW AM 1310 Detroit. The station, owned by Clear Channel was shut down at the end of 2012 and has reportedly only operated for one day earlier this month. When it was shutdown, it was announced that the station's license was being donated - a plan that now appears to have changed.
