Fox Sports Detroit:

FOX Sports Detroit is thrilled to announce the addition of former National Hockey League goaltender Chris Osgood as a game and studio analyst for the 2013-14 season. Osgood's 17-year NHL career included three Stanley Cup championships with the Detroit Red Wings. In 2010-11, his final NHL season as a player, Osgood became just the 10th goaltender in NHL history to win 400 games. He's also one of only 10 goaltenders in NHL history to have scored a goal, and one of only five to have scored by shooting the puck directly into the opponent's net.

  • Former Detroit Lions great Herman Moore has joined Greater Media Sports WMGC-FM 105.1 Detroit as an analyst for the station's post game coverage of Lions' football games.

  • ESPN 100.9 FM (WLUN Pinconning/Midland) has announced a weekly CrunchTime segment featuring former University of Michigan defensive back and Super Bowl champion Cato June that is scheduled to air every Monday during the football season at 4:30 p.m. EST starting today. June will join CrunchTime host Jared Sandler every week to provide analysis of Michigan and Michigan State football, along with commentary on the Detroit Lions and the National Football League.

WOOD TV 8 will present the Art Van Concert Series during ArtPrize 2013, showcasing 21 West Michigan acts for 10 nights at Rosa Parks Circle. The shows will take place weeknights at 5 p.m., starting Sept. 23 with Thirsty Perch Blues Band.

On the premiere of Current Sports TV, host Al Martin talks in depth with former Spartan and NBA star Greg "Special K" Kelser. Now an announcer for Fox Sports and the Big Ten, Kelser talks about his experiences at MSU and in the NBA and offers his opinion on the controversial issue of whether or not to compensate university athletes. Also, comments by MSU athletic director Mark Hollis. (Current Sports is set to debut at 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12.

  • Troy Campbell has been hired as a general assignment reporter at Fox affiliate WXMI-TV Ch. 17 Grand Rapids. Campbell makes the move from KERO-TV in Bakersfield, CA.

  • Cleveland public radio outlet WJCU will salute "CKLW 1970'' Saturday afternoon (Sept. 14) from 3:00 to 5:30 (Eastern Time). Listen online at wjcu.org.

  • Radio ratings company Arbitron has released its latest rankings of market sizes across the USA. The Detroit market has fallen once again, this time from the 11th largest to the 12th largest, dropping behind Miami-Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood, FL. Grand Rapids is now the 69th largest market in the rankings, Lansing-East Lansing 127th, Flint 135th, Ann Arbor 153rd, Kalamazoo 183rd, and Traverse City-Petoskey 196th.
