- It appears that Clear Channel/Detroit Urban WJLB-FM 97.9 has parted ways with the morning show hosted by Coco, Foolish and Mr. Chase. The trio have been stripped from the station's web site (fm98wjlb.com) and were not on the air this morning.
- Greater Media Classic Rock WCSX-FM 94.7 has changed up their HD2 offering, dropping deeper Classic Rock 'Deep Trax' in favor of 50s - 60s Oldies. More info on the switch is coming soon according to 'CSX PD Jerry Tarrants.
- The Detroit Tigers are thinking spring with an announcement today that 22 of the team's Spring Training exhibition games will air live on the radio (WXYT/Detroit, some games on FM 97.1, others on AM 1270) along with 4 on cable TV network Fox Sports Detroit (March 10th, 13th, 23rd, and 27th). This spring marks the 78th training camp for the Tigers in Lakeland, Florida - the team's pitchers and catchers are due to report in 44 days on February 19th.
Detroit hip-hop station WJLB-FM (97.9) has made a change in its morning programming, and has let go long-running morning show hosts Coco and Foolish. Station management could not be immediately reached for comment. Coco and Foolish's co-host, Mr. Chase, will reportedly stay with WJLB.
