Radio One told its advertisers about some programming changes Tuesday, including at least two bombshells -- Mildred Gaddis' longtime morning slot on Detroit's NewsTalk AM 1200 (WCHB-AM) will be taken over by the syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show from 6-10 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Fans of John Mason will soon find the Detroit radio star back in a familiar spot: in the a.m. on the FM dial. Mason will take over the morning drive-time shift at Kiss 105.9 (WDMK-FM) starting Monday, leaving his current afternoon post at Radio One sister station WCHB (1200 AM, 99.9 FM). Mason, who ruled the morning airwaves on Detroit urban radio at WJLB in the 1990s, will broadcast 5:30-10 a.m. weekdays.

ALL ACCESS has learned that BRENT ALBERTS is leaving his PD/afternoon position on CUMULUS Classic Rock WXKR and HD-2 Alternative (100.7 THE ZONE)/TOLEDO. On his FACEBOOK page ALBERTS posted, "After 46 wonderful years in the business I've loved since I was a kid, it's time to do something else."
