For the third year in a row, Oakland University's student-run radio station WXOU has been named the Michigan Association of Broadcasters College Radio Station of the Year. The station, which can be found at 88.3 FM, first won the award in 2012 -- beating Michigan State University, which had won the award for 11 years straight.

Fine Tuning:

  • Dropped: By Greater Media/Detroit Classic Rock WCSX-FM 94.7, Mark Pasman, longtime host of the Motor City Blues Project. That show had been hosted by 'Paz' and heard for 20 years on Sunday evenings (9 p.m - midnight) on WCSX.
