Kalamazoo Gazette:

Dierks Bentley and Justin Moore will headline the B-93 Birthday Bash at the U.S. 131 Motorsports Park in Martin this summer. The 22nd country music festival put on by the Grand Rapids-based country radio station WBCT-FM (93.7) will be held on June 7-8, according to the event's website.

Observer & Eccentric:

The Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation named WSDP-FM (88.1) "The Park" the High School Station of the Year. The MABF presented the award Wednesday, March 12, during the Great Lakes Broadcasting Conference and Expo in Lansing. Fifteen students at Canton, Plymouth and Salem high schools received 14 of the 24 awards presented in the high school radio category.

Fine Tuning:

  • Cumulus Media/Detroit Country WDRQ-FM 93.1 (Nash FM) is hosting and giving away tickets to what's billed as the station's debut concert. The event, featuring performances by Big and Rich, Eric Paslay, Scotty McCreery, Terri Clark, Brett Eldredge, The Cadillac Three, and Kix Brooks, is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at The Fillmore in Detroit.
