Detroit News:

Steve Kostan picked a good winter to be homebound -- after 18 years at Greater Media-owned WCSX-FM (94.7), the veteran rock host was let go in late September. Then Polar Vortex 2013-'14 struck. "It was a good winter to be a shut-in," Kostan says with a laugh. But his hiatus from commuting is over, not long after his noncompete clause expired. CBS Radio Detroit's WOMC-FM (104.3) now has Kostan on the air at 7 p.m. to midnight Saturdays. He started last week.
