  • Clear Channel/Detroit Classic Rock WDTW-FM 106.7 (The Drive) afternoon driver Tanner exits after two years to move to Portland, OR for mornings.

  • Jared Sandler, creator and host of WLUN-FM's (ESPN 100.9) CrunchTime sports talk show program is exiting and returning to his home town having accepted a broadcast position with ESPN Radio Dallas. Sandler hosted his last earlier today from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. WLUN is owned/operated by the Michigan Baseball Foundation which also owns the Midland-based Great Lakes Loons minor league baseball team.

  • Classical/Jazz WRCJ-FM 90.9 Detroit, owned by the Detroit Public Schools but operated by Detroit Public TV, is hosting a benefit concert on May 4 at Christ Church Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills. Details on "A Spring Brass" are available on WRCJ's web site, www.wrcjfm.org.
