Detroit News:

Detroit Sports 105.1 continues to add local programming, announcing Monday plans for an all-baseball show to debut later this month. The show will be hosted by Detroit News national baseball writer Tony Paul, and will air Saturdays, from noon to 1 p.m., for the remainder of the season, starting May 31.

WOOD-TV Ch. 8 Grand Rapids:

A man who dedicated his life to Public Television and WGVU has died. According to officials at Grand Valley State University, Chuck Furman, died yesterday. Furman started his career in broadcasting back in 1966 while at Bowling Green State University. In 1972, he moved to Grand Rapids to help start the PBS station.
