ROY E. HENDERSON has won FCC approval to move WCUZ/BEAR LAKE, MI from 100.1 FM to 100.7 FM and upgrade from Class A to Class C3. The move also necessitates the change in an open allocation at CUSTER, MI from 100.5 to 99.9 FM and the downgrade of FAMILY LIFE COMMUNICATIONS Contemporary Christian WUGN/MIDLAND, MI from Class C to Class C0.

Speaker/broadcaster Lisa Barry to help launch "Transformational Tuesday" series in Rochester

Detroit-area broadcaster and inspirational speaker Lisa Barry will kick off a new series of personal development classes called Transformational Tuesdays. She will speak about Powering through as Positive as Possible, on Tuesday August 26, 2014, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Soul Space, 210 W. University Road at Pine St., Downtown Rochester, Michigan. The series is sponsored by Dean's List Publishers, a Michigan artisanal book publisher.

Barry describes her speaking style as, "I'm all about empowering people with self-love and self-awareness to live a happier and balanced life." Barry has been featured on several area stations, including WJR, WNIC, WYCD and WXYT-AM. She is also heard each week on Body, Mind, Spirit Radio, as host of the "Today's Inspiration" Internet radio program, which airs each Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am ET. She is also in demand as a speaker, emcee and host for special events.

Dean La Douceur, President of Dean's List Publishing, says "I am truly delighted to have Lisa kick off our series." He adds, "We will be hosting these events on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. We have scheduled speakers, experts and leaders who can have you move beyond where you are now, and move you forward in your goals and dreams."
