The September 11 terrorist attacks that shocked everyone and changed lives will also go down as one of the most memorable days in WSNX-FM DJ Eric O'Brien's radio career. O'Brien's 15 years on Grand Rapids' airwaves ended on Friday, and on Monday, he'll join MLive Media Group as the company's director of marketing, a hire that Nick Dionne, senior director of sales and marketing at MLive, says should be a perfect fit.

Tragic news out of the BAY AREA: Sources confirm to ALL ACCESS that CUMULUS Talk KGO-A and KSFO/SAN FRANCISCO OM KEVIN METHENY has passed away from an apparent heart attack ... He moved from CUMULUS News-Talk WJR-A/DETROIT to KGO-A and KSFO-A in JUNE.

  • Adult Contemporary/Full Service WLEN-FM 103.9 Adrian has purchased an FM translator that broadcasts in Adrian at 96.5 from Spring Arbor University. WLEN owner Lenawee Broadcasting is investing $115,000 on the purchase of the 120-watt translator.
