- Nexstar Broadcasting CBS affiliate WJMN-TV Ch. 3 Escanaba has been off the air fort at least the past several days due to technical difficulties associated with the station's transmission systems. The station reports that engineers are aware of the problems that have affected over-the-air viewers as well as those that receive the station via DirecTV and Dish Network and are working to restore service. WJMN-TV has remained available via Charter Cable.
- From the on-again / off-again department: Apparently it depends when you are listening to WFDF AM 910 Detroit; the station was heard on the air broadcasting Radio Disney yesterday after being off the air for an indefinite amount of time.
- Detroit's Mojo in the Morning show, heard on iHeart Media flagship WKQI-FM 95.5, continues to expand its role in syndication with the recent addition of Top 40 WVHT-FM Norfolk, VA.

When Ben Chiswick was hired five years ago to become the play-by-play announcer for the West Michigan Whitecaps, he didn't have a daughter and the location was closer to his Illinois home than his previous job. But times change, and Chiswick has informed the Whitecaps he will not return for a sixth season for family reasons.
