It's a lovely, sunny spring morning today. Honestly, I'm trying to enjoy it after the long crawl through another fierce winter. But I'm in a bit of a somber daze. I have been since Saturday morning, really. That's when word came that Mike Fezzey had died.

Services for Mike Fezzey announced

Visitation is Wednesday, April 1st from 1-8 p.m. with a 1/2 hour prayer service at 5:30pm. A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak.

Funeral is Thursday, April 2nd at 11 a.m., Woodside Bible Church 6600 Rochester Rd N, Troy with a reception immediately following at Huntington Bank Regional Headquarters, 801 W. Big Beaver, Troy.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested gifts to:

- Western Michigan Teen Challenge, 440 E. Pontaluna Rd., Muskegon, MI 49444

- Reaching Higher, 508 E. Grand River #300b, Brighton, MI 48116

Good news for Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra fans: A2SO recently announced its 2015-16 concert lineup; and concerts will now be broadcast live on WKAR-East Lansing (90.5 FM), with an additional re-broadcast of the concert the following week.
