Detroit Free Press:

"We're glad you've joined us." Tavis Smiley's on-air catchphrase can double as Detroit's welcome to the popular PBS late-night host when he brings his talk show to the Motor City. Smiley is scheduled to tape five episodes in Detroit on March, 23, 24 and 25 before a live audience at the Community Arts Auditorium at Wayne State University.

Saginaw News:

Morning show host Joe Volk of The Rock Station Z-93 is celebrating 25 years on air. Volk started at WKQZ in 1986 as an account executive. He began his on-air career with Z-93 in 1988 on a Saturday night show as the character "The Captain."
