"Alexis has played an integral role in our station's vigorous reporting on what's making news in Detroit, particularly her 'Redefining Detroit' series which continues to get tremendous positive feedback from our viewers," WJBK vice president and news director Kevin Roseborough said in a statement.

  • Simulcasters WMRX-FM/WMPX-AM 97.7/1490 Midland have refreshed their sound, moving to a full-time Soft Adult Contemporary format as 'Sunny 97-7', dropping the longtime 'Unforgettable' moniker and shifting away from an Adult Standards sound.

The Grand Blanc McFarlan Library will host a free screening of a documentary chronicling a former Flint rock 'n' roll station. "Flint's Best Rock" will screen Jan. 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
