Fine Tuning:

  • WDTK Adding: Sean Hannity to the lineup at Salem Communications/Detroit News/Talk WDTK AM 1400 next Monday. Hannity's program will air live from 3 - 6 p.m. on WDTK and on the station's FM translator at FM 92.7 Detroit. WDTK General Manager Chris MacCourtney commented, "The opportunity to bring Sean Hannity aboard was one we felt we could not pass up. Sean was an instant hit when he came to Detroit and he continues to be one of the most popular Talk personalities in the market."

Detroit becomes Salem's 4th market (Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Washington) to clear Hannity's show following the very public breakup between Cumulus and the Premiere Networks' syndicated conservative talker. Hannity had been heard in Detroit on Cumulus' News/Talk WJR AM 760 from 2001 until late last year.
  •

  • Hired: Jeff Parker to co-host mornings at MacDonald-Garber's Top 40 WKHQ-FM 105.9 Charlevoix/Traverse City. Parker, who leaves cajun country in Shreveport LA to head to Northern Michigan, will be paired with Heather Leigh.
