• 6/2008: Announced that Great Lakes Commmunity Broadcasting is donating WAAQ FM 88.3 Onsted, WJKQ FM 88.5 Jackson, WJCQ FM 89.7 Jackson, WQLO FM 89.7 Lake Odessa, and W209BR 89.7 Columbia Township to Society for Accurate Information and Distribution Foundation for no financial consideration pending FCC approvals and closing.
• 3/3008: MacDonald Broadcasting agreed to acquire FM translator W221BQ 92.1 Petoskey from Great Lakes Community Broadcasting for $1,500 pending FCC approval and closing. The FCC approved the transaction in May 2008.
• 12/2007: Construction permit for WKHN 88.1 Hubbard Lake expires and is deleted from FCC databases.
• 8/2006: Construction permit for WMSQ FM 89.3 Marlette expires and appeal to extend it is denied. WMSQ is deleted from FCC databases.
