- 2/2011: Construction permit granted for new FM station at 104.5 in Traverse City. permit is sold to Playtime Media (associated with MacDonald Garber Broadcasting) later in 2011.
- 7/2006: FCC approves acquisition of WQHH 96.5 and WXLA 1180
- 5/2006: Announced that Mid-Michigan FM is selling Urban WQHH 96.5 FM and Adult Urban WXLA AM 1180 to MacDonald Broadcasting for $3.65 million pending FCC approval and closing.
- 7/2005: FCC approves acquistion of WSAG 104.1 Pinconning from Blue Moose Broadcasting.
- 4/21/2005: MacDonald Broadcasting launches new format on FM 104.1 Pinconning with Local Marketing agreement now in place; station is simulcast with MacDonald's AM 1400 Saginaw.
- 4/2005: Announced that WSAG-FM 104.1 Pinconning had been sold to MacDonald Broadcasting by Blue Moose Broadcasting
pending FCC approval.
- 11/20/1998: 6 Northern Michigan stations are spun off as MacDonald Garber Broadcasting
- 10/6/1998: Acquisition of WIXC-FM 97.3 Essexville/Bay City is completed with approval by FCC
