- 10/2008: Announced that Packer Radio Greenville is acquiring WSCG-FM/AM 106.3/1380 Lakeview/Greenville from Stafford Broadcasting; sale was approved and closed in December 2008.
- 2004: Purchase of WION falls through due to cross-ownership issues with Stafford's newspaper operations.
- 8/2003: Deal for Stafford Broadcasting to purchase WION-AM 1430 Ionia from Agricultural Resource Group for $100,000 is reached, pending FCC approval.
- 2000: FCC approves acquistion of WPLB-FM 106.3 Lakeview and WPLB-AM 1380 Greenville by Stafford Broadcasting from Kortes Communications.
