Notes/History:

• 3/2012: WIHC Newberry returns to the air simulcasting WGCP Cadillac.
• 11/2011: WCMMM agrees to purchase the silent WIHC FM 97.9 Newberry from Northern Star Broadcasting for $150,000. The FCC approves the sale in December, 2011 and it closes in February 2012.
• 8/2011: Construction permit for WZMI FM 91.9 is canceled as the organization plans to upgrade WGCP 91.9 Cadillac in the area.
• 2/2011: West Central Michigan Media Ministries is purchasing the construction permit for WUMI FM 90.3 Newberry for $2,500 from Korkee, Inc. pending FCC approval and closing. The construction permit is set to expire on May 16th 2011, however West Central could apply for an 18-month extension as part of the sale. West Central owns and operates religious WGCP FM 91.9 Cadillac and has a construction permit for new 91.9 Reed City (WZMI). Sale is approved and closes in 4/2011.
• 4/2010: SAID News Foundation is selling the construction permit for WZMI FM 91.9 Reed City to West Central Michigan Media Ministries for $7,000 pending FCC approval and closing. FCC approves sale in July, 2010.
• 12/2009: WGCP FM 91.9 Cadillac begins operations as religious 'Strong Tower Radio'.
• 5/2008: Construction permit granted to West Central Michigan Media Ministries for a new FM station at 91.9 to be licensed to Cadillac.
