Notes/History:
- 7/2008: Construction permit granted for translator at 95.1 Reed City (W236BR). License granted in June, 2011 to rebroadcast sister station WYBR-FM. Translator later changes to simulcast of WBRN.
- 2/2008: FCC gives special temporary authority for FM translator 107.7 W299BE Big Rapids to rebroadcast WBRN AM. WBRN becomes the first AM station in Michigan to have an approved FM translator.
- 9/2007: License granted for translator W299BE 107.7.
- 4/2005: FCC approves sale of stations.
- 3/1/2005: WBRN-AM 1460 and WBRN-FM 100.9 are sold by RH Communications to Mentor Partners for $850,000 pending FCC approval. Mentor takes over operations of both WBRN-FM and AM under a local marketing agreement. Mentor also owns/operates WYBR-FM 102.3 Big Rapids.
- 9/8/2004: Construction permit granted for translator at 107.7 (W299BE).
- At one time WBRN broadcast in AM stereo but it was dropped.
