  • 4/20/2000: FCC approves sale of station from Hanson Communcations to Liggett Communications
  • 1997: Call sign changes to WHYT which were recently dropped by FM 96.3 in Detroit. The change is short-lived however and the heritage WBTI calls return in less than three months.
  • 1993: Hanson Communications purchases station.
