Notes/History:
- June 1978: Bill Kuiper passes away; station remains under ownership of Kuiper family.
- 1950: Purchased by William Kuiper and format is changed to religious/non-demoninational Christian. Asking price for the station was $50,000. By 1960 WFUR-FM signs on and at some point Kuiper also owned radio stations in Kalamazoo, Dowagiac, and Muskegon.
- 1947: WFUR signs on, owned by a group of World War II veterans. The station airs mostly secular programming.
