Notes/History:

  • 7/2001: Station returns to air with Religious programming from Northern Christian Radio
  • 6/2001: Announced that Northern Radio Network has sold station to Northern Christian Radio, pending FCC approval
  • 11/2000: Station goes silent
  • 1997: Frequency shift to 106.1 as pop 'Mix 106'; no longer simulcasting WHSB.
  • 1993: Frequency shift to 107.3 after WPRJ signs on at 101.5 (later 101.7). New calls are WHST and station is simulcasting then sister station pop WHSB FM 107.7 Alpena.
  • 1972: On air at 101.7 FM as WDBI with beautiful music format. Eventually format would change to contemporary hits.
