Notes/History:

• 7/2007: Construction permit granted to change effective radiated power from 31,000 watts @ 453 feet to 31,000 watts @ 548 feet from a different transmitter location further west in Alcona county. WJOJ had been negotiating a new lease at its current tower location and there had been some doubt as to it being renewed, resulting in the application. The lease on the current location (WBKB-TV 11's tower) has since been renewed and this CP will likely be abandoned.
• 6/2004: Station repositions as 'Smile FM' along with all the other stations owned/operated by Superior Communications/Northland Community Broadcasters/Michigan Community Radio. Programming originates in Lansing at WLGH-FM 88.1 with local inserts.
