  • 7/2008: Construction permit granted to change from a Class A station operating with 6,000 watts @ 157 feet to Class C2 which would broadcast with 24,500 watts @ 713 feet. The station's transmitter would also move from just east of Manistique to the west near the border of Schoolcraft and Delta counties. Coverage area of WPIQ would be greatly increased. License to cover granted 5/2010.
  • 2/2008: License to cover granted for frequency change.
  • 11/2007: Frequency change from 99.9 to 92.7
  • 9/2007: Construction permit granted to change frequency from 99.9 to 92.7 with a slight change in the station's height above average terrain (151 to 157 feet).
