Notes/History:
- 8/1/2005: Classical and Jazz format debuts at noon.
- 4/2005: Announced that Detroit Public TV (Channel 56) will take over operations of the station in July 2005. Format will change to Classical and Jazz and 24/7 operations will resume.
- 7/1/2004: Call sign changes from WDTR, Detroit Public Schools, to WRCJ-FM. Station cuts back operating hours to 8am-5pm weekdays only and it is announced that the DPS will award a contract to operate the station to a third party.
- 1/8/1948: On air becoming Michigan's first educational FM station.
