- 2/2008: License to cover granted for new main transmitter location.
- 12/2007: Operations shift from auxiliary facilities to new permanent transmitter location.
- 5/2007: Construction permit granted for new permanent facilities which would operate with 265,000 watts @ 580 feet, an overall decrease in effective radiated power from when the station operated with the same 265,000 watts, but at 810 feet.
- 200x: Although licensed for 265,000 watts @ 810 feet, WOOD-FM begins operations from its auxiliary facilities (99,000 watts @ 580 feet) due to the lack of space on the tower shared with WOOD-TV and WOOD-DT.
- 11/12/2001: Station repositions as The New Star 105.7, dropping EZ-105.7
- 1990s: Format evolves from Easy Listening to Adult Contemporary

- Original owner was Furnwood Broadcasting. Call sign may have also originated from wood, the material used to build the office furniture the Grand Rapids area is known for.
