- 7/2006: CRTC approves station's application to move about 13 miles closer to Windsor and change its ERP (lower power, higher height).
- 4/22/2001: Format change from Country to Hot Adult Contemporary.
- 1994: Maclean-Hunter is acquired by Rogers Communications; CHYR and Blue Water Broadcasting is spun off to Blackburn Radio.
- 7/1993: Operations begin on FM 96.7 as CHYR-FM. AM 710 ends operations on September 10th.
- 1993: In preparation for a move from AM to FM, station abandons nighttime operations on AM 730 and instead operates on AM 710 at night at greatly reduced power. The change is made as part of the construction of the station's new FM transmitting facilities.
