  • 7/2009: J&J Broadcasting is acquiring pop WIMI-FM 99.7 and country WJMS AM 590 Ironwood from Magellan/Barracuda Broadcasting (Armada Media) for $950,000 pending FCC approval and closing. J&J also owns WKMJ FM/WMPL AM in Houghton-Hancock and programmer and 50% owner of WUPY Ontonagon. Sale is approved in August 2009 and closes in February 2010.
  • 12/2006: Purchase of WUPM/WHRY announced in October is canceled at request of Big G Little o.
  • 10/2006: Bay Broadcasting (which later renames itself as J & J Broadcasting) agrees to purchase Hot Adult Contemporary WUPM-FM 106.9 and Oldies WHRY AM 1450 Ironwood/Hurley, WI for $1.25 million from Big G Little o pending FCC approval and closing.
  • 7/2006: FCC approves sale of WKMJ and WMPL to Bay Broadcasting from Victor Corporation.
  • 6/2006: Victor Broadcasting reaches a deal to sell WKMJ FM 93.5 and Talk WMPL AM 920 Hancock to Bay Broadcasting for $775,000 pending FCC approvals and closing.
  • 5/2001: FCC approves sale of stations from Copper Country Enterprises to Victor Corporation
