  • 1990: Christian Evangelical Broadcasting Association purchases station and moves format to Black Gospel.
  • 198x: Format changed to religious.
  • 1980/81: Format changed to Nostalgia 'Music of Your Live' with WFLT call sign.
  • 1960s: Station sold by founders, format remains targeted towards African Americans. WAMM was an early radio home for Casey Kasem who gained great popularity as the host of the long-running countdown show American Top 40 after leaving WAMM and moving first to Detroit and then to Los Angeles where AT40 was launched.
  • 1955: Station is on-air, targeted towards Flint's African American community. Co-founded by Al Binder.
