  • 10/24/2005: Construction permit granted to change ERP from 1,600 watts @ 407 feet to 3,800 watts @ 415 feet directional. Tower location would change from Ottawa County to Wood County.
  • 5/2/2005: FCC approves sale from Rasp Broadcasting to Urban Radio Broadcasting
  • 3/2005: Announced that Rasp Broadcasting is selling the station to Urban Radio Broadcasting for $2.6 million, pending FCC approval. Format changes from Classic Hits 'Fox 97.3' to Urban "Hot 97.3'; Urban Radio also owns Adult Urban WIMX-FM 95.7.
  • 8/2000: Simulcast of WRWK (formerly WBUZ) ends, format is Classic Hits of 70's/80's as 'The Fox'. Operating with a Joint Sales Agreement with Clear Channel.
  • 9/1998: WJZE-FM drops its classic rock format in favor of a simulcast of Active Rock WBUZ-FM. The duopoly now serves the Toledo area with signals from the eastern and western fringes. Ownership of WJZE and WBUZ remains separate.
