  • 2002: Standard Media purchases station from TeleMedia Communications then sells it to Rogers Media.
  • 1999: TeleMedia purchases CJQM from Pelmorex and retakes operations of CHAS-FM. Station is rebranded as 'EZ Rock 100.5'.
  • 198x: Station operations are taken over by Pelmorex, owner of CJQM FM 104.3.
  • 198x: Format change to adult contemporary as 'Lite 100.5' and then 'Mix 100.5'.
  • 1985: Purchased by TeleMedia Communications. Format evolves towards adult standards/beautiful music hybrid.
  • 1981: CBC signs on CBSM in Sault Ste Marie and CHAS-FM drops the CBC programming it had previously been airing.
  • 1976: Purchased by Huron Broadcasting who spun the station off to Gilder Broadcasting.
  • 5/15/1964: On-air as CJIC-FM, owner is Highland Broadcasting, with beautiful music format. Sister stations are CJIC AM and CJIC-TV.
